The Assistant Operator is relied upon for providing onsite support services for the Vacuum Truck Services Division which performs a very diverse range of activities including hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, and power washing, and assisting with the loading and hauling of various fluids/materials.
- Operate equipment safely in an industrial setting
- Perform physically demanding tasks
- Represent GFL professionally and provide exceptional service to all clients
- Participate in GFL’s safety programs including safety meetings, risk assessments
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- General safety knowledge, experience and awareness
- H2S, Confined Space Entry and Fall Arrest recommended
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform high labour intensity tasks in a team
- Positive, self-motivated attitude
