Assisted Living Tenant Assistant / Health Care Aide
Creekside Landing is a unique campus of care that offers aging couples, seniors, and friends — whose individual care needs differ greatly — the ability to continue to live together in proximity. The campus includes, 38 Assisted Living suites and 70 complex care beds providing a safe, supportive home and 24-hour nursing care for seniors who can no longer live independently, whether due to physical or cognitive issues.
We are looking for dedicated HCA's who are passionate about resident care and will go that extra mile to put a smile on our Assisted Living residents faces. Our focus is client-centered care, and we view each person in our care as an individual with unique emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.

What You Will Do
- Provide personal care and attention to our Assisted Living residents, ensuring that their activities of daily living needs are met, including meals and personal care.
- Observe, report, and record physical or cognitive changes with residents.
- Provide input into the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Resident’s Care Plans.
- Administer and monitor routine medications with the exception of injectables.
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in social and physical, spiritual, and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents and staff.
- Promote the British Columbia Assisted Living principles of choice, privacy, independence, individuality, dignity and respect.
Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s
- You have graduated from a recognized Health Care Aide Program and are registered with the BC Care Aide Registry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- You have the physical ability and stamina to carry out the duties of the role.
- You have a genuine passion for caring for our residents.
- You can pass a Criminal Record Check for working with vulnerable adults and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
