Prairie Branches Enterprises Inc. (PBE) is a non-profit, community-based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. PBE is inviting applications for the position of Associate Director of Client Care. This position would provide support to the residential managers and program coordinators in Biggar, Unity, Kerrobert and Wilkie.
TERM: permanent position consisting of 37.5 hours per week.
NATURE OF DUTIES:
Provides support to participants in a manner that maximizes their potential and quality of life. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting and overseeing the development and maintenance of programs for approximately 50 individuals in Biggar, Unity, Kerrobert and Wilkie.
Provide supervision to the Agencys Residential Managers in conjunction with the Associate Director of HR
Work with the management team in developing training, procedure, and best practices.
Help navigate participant challenges including creation of behavior support plans and advocating for support from various government agencies.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Social Work or equivalent- combination of education and experience will be considered
2. 10 years experience in program development or project management for vulnerable populations
3. Ability to form relationships in community and with government
4. 10 years experience in disability sector and/or mental health sector
5. 10 years experience working with families, children/youth and/or adults with disabilities
6. Experience with accessing grants, program funding, sponsorship and fundraising
7. 10 years experience in a management/supervisory role
8. Must possess a valid drivers license and must have own vehicle
9. Must provide a current Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector Search prior to employment
10. Must be willing to travel within our service area (Wilkie, Biggar, Unity and Kerrobert)
