Job Description:
What will you work on?
As Associate Packaging Engineer, this individual will design and develop innovative structural packaging solutions to support worldwide product launches through a comprehensive knowledge of technology, materials and competitive analysis
How will you create impact?
- Create innovative structures to ensure competitive advantage
- Design 3D structures that compliment and protect complex products
- Originate a package concept for cost estimate and provide different packaging solutions and cost savings
- Work on many projects concurrently and adhere to packaging and business schedules
- Work cohesively and collaboratively in a team environment; to create standard engineering drawings and to have direct experience working with chip, corrugate, PET, etc.
- Present ideas, problems and solutions to management and peers
- Act as liaison and creative engineering partner with our China team
What are your skills and experience?
- Packaging or Industrial Design experience preferred
- Current knowledge of competitive products at retail
The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $45,000 to $60,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
