Flash ATM is a leading provider of ATM services, including ATM installation, transaction processing, maintenance, and repair. We are dedicated to ensuring that our clients' ATM needs are met with the highest standards of reliability and efficiency. We are currently looking for a skilled ATM Technician to join our team.

Job Description

As an ATM Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ATMs in our tech shop and at various client locations. You will work closely with our customer service and operations teams to ensure that any technical issues are resolved promptly. This position requires a high level of technical skill, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills, flexibility and high availability.

Responsibilities

  • Programming of new and previously used ATMs, setting them up with the correct configurations, testing their functionality, and inspecting their appearance to meet company standards.
  • Prepare ATMs for shipping, travel to client sites for installation or removal of machines as required.
  • Provide initial training to customers either in-person or online on ATM replenishment and basic troubleshooting, highlighting the capabilities of the terminal.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with ATMs, including both hardware and software problems, through phone support and on-site visits.
  • Deliver timely and accurate customer service for clients facing technical problems.
  • Conduct or oversee on-site service repairs when issues cannot be resolved remotely, ensuring the terminal is fully functional after repair.
  • Perform routine maintenance and security updates on ATMs at customer locations, maintaining detailed records of all activities.
  • Offer after-hours support during weekdays and on weekends on a rotating basis with team members, adhering to safety guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of all.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of industry security standards and enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform regular inventory audits to verify the availability and functionality of tools and equipment.
  • Handle additional duties or projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
  • Bilingual capabilities in French and English.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in ATM or similar equipment repair and maintenance.
  • A solid understanding of electrical systems and electronic devices.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and credit background check.
  • Capability to lift 60 pounds or more on a consistent basis.
  • Maintain the company vehicle provided, ensuring all regular maintenance occurs and reporting major issues.

Salary: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
