Auction Associate

Switzer’s Auctions and Appraisals are seeking applications from a multi-talented individual to join our team.

Qualifications

Ability to work well as a team player in a fast paced, multi tasking environment

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Computer skills - Microsoft Office

Ability to lift up to 60lbs

Candidate will be required to have or be able to obtain a Non Restricted and Restricted Firearms license

Drivers License

Criminal record check to be completed prior to employment

Job Duties

Handling incoming and outgoing products for sale, ability to sort, research, group items for sale

Data entry experience using Microsoft Excel, simple spreadsheet data entry to make labels

Photograph items for auction sale

Package customer orders for shipping

Prepare shipping documents using computer system

Cleaning, answering phones, customer inquiries, other duties as required

Competitive wage, benefits, and profit sharing.

Regular office hours 8:30 – 4:30 pm Mon – Fri, plus 6 to 8 Saturday Sale dates per year extra hours as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
