What is the Opportunity?
The Internal Audit group provides independent assurance related to the control framework at RBC. The manager role within the Capital Markets and CAO/ HR audit team in Internal Audit is responsible for conducting and leading business audits related to capital markets and CAO/ HR functions to assess the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
What will you do?
- Develop audit scope, objectives, and work plans, including the selection of appropriate audit tests, identification of key controls and associated design and operating effectiveness review.
- Maintain awareness of internal control audit trends to assure audit processes remain effective.
- Conduct continuous risk monitoring
- Help in follow up to verify timely management remediation of audit issues and validate the enhancements implemented by management
- Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and external events.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5+ years of Internal Audit experience
Nice to have:
- Experience working in financial services, banking, capital markets and CAO/ HR functions.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000- $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
