2024 AutoCAD Summer Student
Dryden Fibre Canada is currently accepting applications for an AutoCAD Summer Student from approximately May to September 2024.
Responsibilities of an AutoCAD Summer Student:
- Working within a team environment and reporting to a member of the Maintenance & Engineering Team, you will be working with Engineers and Engineering Technicians in your summer work term.
- You will be using AutoCAD to complete various updates and verifications and will obtain exposure a variety of projects.
- You will learn site safety procedures, work systems, project systems, administrative procedures, and resources. A mentor will provide peer level support, direction, and coaching.
Your Profile:
- You will currently be enrolled in an engineering technician or technologist diploma or an engineering degree program.
- Demonstrated skills/experience using AutoCAD with a focus on drawing updates and verification.
- Possess organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
