Redline Automotive is a rapidly growing automotive repair, tire and service business located in Scarborough (Sheppard & McCowan). We are looking for a registered apprentice or someone that wants a career in the automotive industry.
Our shop services a mix of high end and European (40%), Asian (30%), and domestic (30%) vehicles, making each day unique and engaging.
Redline Automotive is a modern shop that uses the latest tools, diagnostic equipment, and technology to provide our clientele with an exceptional experience.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License with clean Driver’s Abstract.
Minimum of tire changing and basic oil change knowledge.
Good written communication skills.
Technical communication skills.
Customer service skills.
Aptitude for mathematics.
Good time management.
Manual dexterity skills.
Ability to lift - up to 80 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a vehicle fume environment.
Tools are a necessity.
Responsibilities:
Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately.
Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to management.
Obtain required parts from the parts department.
Maintain and develop skill levels in repair and service of vehicles.
Ensure the shop is clean and tidy.
Obtaining authorization for service work.
Performing quality professional repairs and maintenance.
Providing complete and accurate documentation of finished work.
Road testing vehicle for quality control.
Retrieving customer vehicles into service area for service preparation.
Obtaining final approval prior to performing additional repairs.
Responding to repair inquiries in a prompt manner.
Performing repairs and maintenance service work requested in accordance with approved quality and efficiency standards.
Applying knowledge and ability to safely utilize all tools and equipment.
Test driving and assuring proper operation of all vehicles in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation standards.
Completing service-related paperwork in a detailed and legible manner.
Maintaining a professional appearance by wearing assigned uniforms.
Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner to meet safety requirements determined by dealership and government agencies.
Discarding residual waste or hazardous materials using the proper disposal methods.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
