Automotive Collision Repair Appraiser And Estimator

A highlight of responsibilities include:

• Inspect qualified vehicles and write damage appraisals in accordance with the guidelines of the respective insurance company.
• Write all appraisals, obtaining approvals, supplementary repair orders, supplements and warranties when dealing with the customer, striving to maintain and improve closing ratio for the company.
• Maintain consistent communication with the adjuster, production staff and customer regarding repair status.
• Attend all required shop team meetings including production meetings.
• Grow knowledge and skills base by attending professional development and training courses, as appropriate, keeping up to date on current trends.
• Utilize all company appraiser software and processes, following the standard imaging process on all potential insurance appraisals.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in which to work that reflects the working conditions of the Company.
• Abide by company policies and procedures.

Designations/Training/Experience Requirements:

- At least one year of Appraisal/Estimator experience

- I-CAR certifications and training would be an asset

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

- Ability to lift, handle and move items up to 50kg

- Working in an auto body shop environment (noise, dirt, fumes, hazards)

- Must be able to work around chemicals and fumes

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
