Automotive Detailer
Primary Responsibilities
· Work with Managers to create a process that ensures vehicles are ready when promised, guests have been contacted and deliveries have been scheduled;
· Provides a safe and organized workplace
· Schedules applications of aftermarket products, detail services and repairs;
- Follows the scheduling process and supervises delivery preparation of all sold vehicles, ensuring that purchased options have been properly installed/complete and that all features are fully operational;
- Inspection of vehicles to ensure quality of workmanship prior to delivery;
- Communicates with Service staff (Advisors, Technicians) to facilitate auto placement;
- Communicates with Service staff regarding detail services, repairs, and estimates for time completion;
- Performs visual vehicle inspections, recommends cosmetic repairs, and documents existing damages;
- Performs all detailing department duties and services
- Efficient use of chemicals in a safe manner
- Ensure vehicles meet the clean for delivery requirements
- Oversee a strategy to continuously provide outstanding detail services
- Establishes procedures for addressing customer concerns or complaints promptly; collaborate with Managers to resolve open CX cases; document outcomes in VIN;
· Providing documentation that is accurate and timely; updating VIN where applicable;
· Follows all current company policies, processes and procedures;
· Comply with any WorkSafe requirements, and safety protocols;
· Support of all other dealership operations including Fixed Operations and Accounting to promote cooperation and a team environment;
· Undertake all other tasks that may be delegated to you under the supervision of the General Manager and Fixed Operations Manager;
Qualifications/Skills Required
· Exceptional multi-tasker and time manager; organized and detailed
· Follows tries and true processes and coaches/mentors others to do the same
· Familiar with vehicle modifications, accessories and after market product applications
· Ability to find solutions and resolve conflict
· Excellent communicator with exceptional oral and written skills; ability to understand and analyze written and verbal instructions
· Able to effectively present information to guests, colleagues, and groups when necessary both written and orally
· Driven to provide outstanding customer experiences
· Exhibits sound judgment, empathy, and integrity
· Will develop expert product knowledge
· Computer proficient
· Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
· Ability to lift objects weighing 25-50 lbs
· Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time
· Work in areas that require kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
