Automotive Detailer

Job Description

Prairie Auto Fleet is a local vehicle exporting company. We purchase vehicles within Alberta to export to the US and lease out to local customers. At PAF we pride ourselves on being able a direct source to the States. Customers don't have to deal with wholesalers, marketplaces or dealerships. We pay top dollar, pick up the vehicle from the customer and there is no obligations!

The vehicles before being sent out to our customers need to be detailed! We’re looking for someone whose able to work independently and has previous hands-on experience in the automotive and detailing industry. Once vehicles are detailed, they need to be staged and photographed for social media, and the website!

Responsibilities

• Detailing new and used vehicles for lot and customers
• Maintaining a clean and organized wash bay
• Washing, cleaning, polishing and performing general upkeep on vehicle interiors & exteriors.
• Performing undercoats, paint protection, etc
• Installing Fender trim, bug deflectors and 3M strips.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, such as vacuum, pressure washer, extractor, shampooer, polisher etc.
• Notify the supervisor if there is damage or mechanical issues/warning lights on.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a detailer (Preferred 1+ year)
• Excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
• Comfortable moving trucks within confined spaces, ensuring no damage to the vehicle or the shop
• Able to work independently
• The ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Experience with polishing and ceramic coating an asset.
• Working knowledge of detail chemical products and tools.
• Organization and detail orientated

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
