Job description

The Aviation Client Executive has the responsibility for managing the client relationship. The Aviation Client Executive leverages WTW resources to provide coordinated service and placement to meet the client's insurance and risk management needs. This role will require travel and meetings with current clients to discuss renewal underwriting information and strategy.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of the placement and service for WTW Clients
  • Maintain client relationships with assigned accounts, support retention ratio at or above the average and to produce new accounts
  • Provide risk management analysis utilizing new business, renewal and claim reviews
  • Make recommendations to prospects and current clients to update and enhance policy contracts
  • Perform all phases of new business, renewal and remarket processing including preparation of applications, negotiation with underwriters, obtaining quotes and creating proposals
  • Consistently prepares and submits policy change requests to carriers
  • Monitors status of change requests and reviews policy documents for accuracy
  • Identifies and processes coverage enhancement and cross- sales opportunities
  • Independently resolves client, carrier and/or vendor accounting issues, including; coverage questions, collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements, billing controversies
  • Ensure compliance with all WTW and regulatory procedures such as WEM (Willis Excellence Model)
  • Coordinate claims administration on a national basis and provide training to staff on all Claims procedures
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Produce and regularly update bespoke policy wordings and endorsements
  • Develop, implement, and execute on operational efficiencies that can be gained in the small business segment of the business through the use of process and technology
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice, office and firm.
  • Support all of the Company's values and main objectives that may change from time to time

The requirements :

  • A minimum of 15 years' insurance experience (or similar)
  • Experience working in aviation insurance sector is an asset
  • High School diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • AMF licensed is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French for all candidates residing in Quebec
  • Holds, or is working towards, an appropriate professional designation
  • Fundamental knowledge & understanding of the industries and sectors of their account businesses, including the main products & services produced and processes used.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of risk management, including contract review (as it relates to insurance and risk mitigation/contractual risk transfer)
  • First-class interpersonal skills, including relationship building & maintenance
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), presentation & organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability independently carry out assignments and to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Flexible hours to suit the International nature of the business including weekends (infrequent)
  • Business travel when required
  • Flexible to relocate to another WTW office (if required)
