Job DetailsReporting to the Vice President, Product, Pricing, Reinsurance and Business insights, the general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead and oversees a function that creates superior analytical tools for insights and foresight capabilities
  • Drive insights to generate significant business opportunities for the various internal stakeholders
  • Develop deep dive and complex analyses to proactively understand emerging trends and make strategic decisions
  • Develop annual revenue plan and Medium-Term Outlook for the different lines of business
  • Produce recurrent KPI reports – quotes, closing, retention, sales, gross written premiums, claim count, severity, …, to monitor business results
  • Develop Operational targets for some stakeholders
  • Support the NEW Journeys
  • Responsible for regulatory reporting to the various statistical agencies, industry associations and governments.
  • Develop ad-hoc and manual prototype reports and analyses for all lines of business

  • Identifies ways to measure and hold people accountable for results, providing clarity, and outlining, in advance, the ramifications of not achieving stated goals.
  • Delegates strategic objectives to the team with clear and explicit intent; knows the precise level of challenge and how individual team members will handle it.
  • Sets up forums or practices to reinforce independent and open communication among team members.

  • Sets benchmarks independent of and beyond organizational best practices, based on a defined understanding of what is possible.
