Job Description: The Nurse B is accountable for assisting the Community Health Services Manager during the day shift in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating clinical and non-clinical situations ast hey pertain to the operations of the facility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid drivers license and the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Acute care setting.
Previous education and/or experience in coordinating activities and personnel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Leadership skills
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member.
