Back Shop Attendant

Marine Drive Golf Club is currently seeking outgoing and energetic individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Golf Operations team. Our attendants play an important role in attending to members and guests at the start and finish of their rounds. They provide excellent customer service by understanding members’ preferences and possessing high attention to detail. Attendants operate and maintain the Driving Range and Practice facilities in addition to assisting Pro Shop staff and Management as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain and clean golf carts
• Set up, clean and store members' golf clubs
• Operate and maintain the driving range and practice facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Outgoing, energetic with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf is an asset but not required. We love teaching others the intricacies of the game
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to reliably commute to the Club

Marine Drive Golf Club was established in 1922 and has consistently been a leading member in the British Columbian golf community. Located at the corner of SW Marine Drive & 57th Avenue near the Kerrisdale & Southlands neighbourhoods, this historical Club blends the graceful beauty of the past with contemporary facilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
