Bakery Production Worker

Hi, we're Kitchening & Co. - a small local wholesale bakery looking for a great Kitchen Worker. Are you tired of working until the early hours on the morning on a hot-line in a restaurant, but have a passion for cooking? Do you want to have a work-life balance, have regular shifts, and spend holidays with family and friends?

Look no further! We are currently hiring for a candidate with Monday to Friday availability. The shifts will begin as 10am-6pmShifts are guaranteed Monday to Wednesday. Candidates with Thursday and/or Friday availability are preferred. There may be the odd Sunday shift during holidays.

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record and will be trained on deliveries that are done every Thursday.

We need a new member to join our great team on a diverse production line. We create French macarons and marshmallows. Previous kitchen experience is not required but can be an added benefit.

Roles / Resposibilities

- learning skilled work like making macaron batters
- learning to operate baking equipment like depositors and ovens
- making fillings (pastry creams, ganache, salted caramel etc.)
- making marshmallows
- making cookies
- washing dishes
- mopping, closing down production kitchen

Pay

Starting wage for an entry level candidate is $18 with a 3 month wage review. Starting wage is negotiable for experienced candidate. 2 weeks paid sick leave and Christmas/New Years off.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
