Bakery Team Member

We are looking for someone to join our Bakery Team! Come be a part of the wonderful Stoke Market team in our brand-new facility in Kimberley BC.

Responsibilities:

• Make and bake our signature sourdough bread
• Make and bake the delicious treats sold at Stoke Market
• Preparing and packaging grab-and-go food items
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant is not mandatory but is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is an asset
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a team of amazing people
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
• Lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
• Frequent turning and reaching
• Occasional pushing, pulling and forward bending
• Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres
• Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
• 8-10 hour shifts
