Bakery/Deli Clerk

Legacy Co-op is hiring 2 Part-Time Bakery/Deli Clerk our food department at the Yorkton Food Store, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:

• Preparing, wrapping, pricing, and stocking product as required and assigned.
• Maintaining and displaying all types of deli and bakery products according to standards.
• Ensuring all specified overnight care and department handling procedures are adhered to.
• Operating printer, scales, and slicer.
• Performing interior housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Coming to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
• Getting familiar with and adhere to Legacy Co-op policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are interested in a career in customer service and should have:

• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
• Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
• Willingness to advance knowledge through training
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire and ability to work with the public.
• Ability to work independently and also in a team setting.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 60lbs, climbing and kneeling.
• Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
