  1. TD's Canadian Personal Banking Operations department which is responsible for end-to-end Money Out & Money In support functions and capabilities across Canadian Personal Banking and Business Banking products. Specifically, on the Banking Operations team, which consists of nearly 450 professionals located in Mississauga and Montreal and currently work within a hybrid onsite/work-from-home working model.
  2. Operations Performance & Modernization (OPM): This team enables and supports 2,600 Operations colleagues to deliver best-in-class customer experiences for the Personal Bank. The OPM team's scope crosses workforce management, performance management, insights and reporting, behaviours and coaching, colleague innovation, colleague experience and enablement, governance and control, while partnering with end-to-end customer journeys to deliver on Operations scope.

Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.

Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. Job Details
  • Conduct research, provide deep analysis and reporting on a range of operational and service functions
  • Enhance management decision making by providing insights generated from data and reporting, to advance the operating model, processes and elevate service quality
  • Develop and execute reporting functions and/or produce consolidated reporting (dashboards and scorecards) as appropriate to highlight business performance and productivity
  • Provide accurate and thorough analysis of key process drivers, root causes of cross functional operational issues, interpret findings and make recommendations
  • Keep informed of emerging issues, trends, and changing regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork
  • Provide thought leadership by sharing ideas and insights on opportunities for improvement
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet deadlines
Job Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Extremely proactive self-starter that anticipates next tasks before it is assigned and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within and across teams
  • Strong desire and curiosity to learn
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability and tenacity to develop creative solutions to complex problems and the ability to think way outside-the-box
  • Strong comfort with performing analysis with leveraging Microsoft Excel & PPT, Tableau etc.

  • This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 6th to August 30th, 2024.
