Job Overview:
As a Barback/Busser, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with bar setup, stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders with restocking fridges, restocking ice, and replenishing glasses as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar by regularly clearing empty glasses, bottles, and trash.
• Ensure all bar equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to prevent shortages.
• Changing kegs.
• Clear tables and reset them promptly to accommodate new guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the venue.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year previous experience in a similar role is absolutely required, particularly in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to take direction from bartenders and management to meet the needs of the establishment.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and familiarity with common drink recipes is a plus.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (e.g., cases of beer, kegs, trays of glasses)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
