Barista/All Rounder

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Dessert Yard. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our coffee and beverage offerings, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where creativity and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Serve Exceptional Beverages:
• Craft a variety of coffee and specialty beverages according to established recipes.
• Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on preferences.
• Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
• Keep the barista station and service areas clean and well-organized.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay informed about the Dessert Yard menu, including desserts and beverages.
• Educate customers about our offerings and assist with their selections.
• Operational Support:
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adaptability:
• Handle peak hours and maintain composure during busy periods.
• Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
