Barn Manager

Wanting to work at one of the most beautiful places on earth ? Brewster Lake Louise stables is looking for a full time, enthusiastic and organized person to manage our Horseback Trail riding barn in Lake Louise.

Duties include:

• Work alongside the owner to overseeing day to day operations.
• Manager horse herd health, feed and general care
• Assist with saddling and preparing the horses for daily trail riders
• Assigning horses to guests and ensuring safe mounting/dismounting.
• Aid Reservation desk with customer service and resolve any issues.
• Manager wranglers day to day rides and jobs
• Overseeing and enforcing all safety procedures.
• Training of new wranglers
• Supervising guest service staff and ensuring guest experience is met.
• Working on daily riding schedule and horse inventory

Who we are looking for:

• minimum of 5 years of horseback riding experience. Western Preferred.
• experience with customer service or client relations.
• experience with managing people
• Knowledge of horse health and vet care.
• Able to commit to the full operating season. End of May to Mid October
• Computer knowledge / skills
• Be able to work flexible hours and weekends
• Valid Work permit until October 15, 2024 as a minimum
• Strong communication skills, be highly organized and be able to work in a fast paced environment
• High level of attention to detail
• A positive and friendly attitude
