Beekeeper assistant

Apiguru Inc. is a growing beekeeping business providing bees, honey, education, rentals, and other services. We are seeking a capable and committed intern to help grow our production.

The internship will involve working in the workshop, bee yards, and honey extraction kitchen. Responsibilities: Assist the beekeeper in his work

Qualifications: Permanent resident and under 30 years old Motivated to make a difference Interested in learning new skills Reliable and takes initiative Ability to work with power tools Work 35-40 hours a week Ability to be flexible in regards to weather and temperatures. Work indoors and outdoors with bees and mosquitos Must not have allergies to pollen or bee stings Upper body strength – Ability to lift heavy boxes of honey extra consideration: previous experience with beekeeping, driver's license, bilingual.
