Beer Ambassador

Our farm is located on 28 acres, an hour northwest of Toronto, between the villages of Alton and Belfountain. Having grown hops since 2011, we now operate as a Farm Brewery (launched 2017). We are a farm first, using regenerative farming principles which are the foundations of our vision. Our barn has been retrofitted as our Brewery, where we manufacture (brew & package) beer. We also operate two outdoor Beer Gardens offering live music and food from local chefs. In addition to sampling our product on-site, you can purchase our products from our retail shop, opt for curb-side pickup, opt for home delivery, find us at select restaurants/bars, and two of our varieties can also be found at select LCBO’s across Ontario.

Our purpose is to build & play together so that our community is connected to each other and the Land. Our core values include authenticity, quality, protecting our earth and providing a fun and communal environment for everyone involved.

We are looking to hire Beer Ambassadors for the upcoming season. Paid staff training is scheduled May 7 & 8th (4 hrs each day) Our dry run training date is Friday May 10th, with opening wkn scheduled for May 11th + 12th. After that we operate Thursday through Sunday, including holiday Mondays. However, Wednesday nights are occasionally reserved for special events (such as euchre nights, workshops, special dinners, comedy night). We operate weekly until Thanksgiving weekend.

What you’ll be doing:

• Frontline greeting & communicating with our patrons
• Sharing our story & products - genuinely + confidently
• Sharing your knowledge of beer while also serving it to patrons (flights, pints, pitchers, merchandise + take away beer)
• Adhering to AGCO & Smart Serve Standards
• Operating our Square - Point of Sale and Inventory systems
• processing payments, cashing out, balancing a till
• Undertaking sanitization protocols
• in accordance with Ontario’s Health & Safety guidelines
• Clearing tables, operating dishwasher, stocking up cans, kegs + merchandise
• General cleanliness + tidiness of hop bin, patios, storage and maintenance areas
