Before and After School Independent Respite Contractor

This position is to support a male youth with Spastic Quadriplegia Before and After School in his home. He is non-verbal but has a communication system. The successful candidate will need to complete the following tasks:

• Tube feeding
• Toileting
• Lifting and transferring from wheelchair
• Engage in creative and stimulating activities
• Light housekeeping
• Maintain a safe and positive environment

Education/Experience:

• Nursing or PSW degree or working towards
• Experience with complex medical needs such as tube feeding, toileting, lifting and transferring
• Implementing age appropriate activities
• Providing support to the family as a whole

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
