Behaviour Consultant/BCBA

Looking for an individual to assist with the development, facilitation, implementation, and adherence to treatment programs in residential settings. Candidates must have a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and experience with ABC data collection, graphing, and staff training.

This is an independent contractor position and therefore the candidate will be able to choose their own schedule and work hours. Data review/graphing hours can be completed at home, the candidate is expected to be in the homes at least two days a week (hours can vary).

Location of work is in Orleans/Navan area.

Duties

• Collect, review, and analyze ABC data
• Graph data by percentage, duration, frequency
• Staff training
• BSP development/revision
• Program development
• Consultation meetings/casenotes
• Progress reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in a related field (e.g., ABA, Behaviour Science, Autism, etc. (ESSENTIAL)
• Familiar with the principles of ABA (ESSENTIAL)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel (ESSENTIAL)
• Vulnerable Sector Check (ESSENTIAL)
• 1-2 years working in an ABA setting (ESSENTIAL)
• 1-2 years working with individuals with dual diagnoses, autism, or other exceptionalities (ESSENTIAL)
• BCBA or BCaBA certification (or in pursuit of certification) (ESSENTIAL)
• 1-2 years working with individuals in residential settings (PREFERRED)
• Valid driver's license and access to operational vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
• Must be willing to get professional liability insurance if chosen candidate (ESSENTIAL)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week
