Job description

RothLochston is currently recruiting a Billing Administrator to join the team at our corporate head office in Paradise, NL. This is a permanent role and an opportunity to become part of a central accounting team supporting multiple business units within the organization.

The Billing Administrator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely invoices. This role plays a crucial role in providing the project management team with timely and accurate information necessary for the management of change and meeting the reporting requirement of the client.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of invoicing in a timely manner for lump sum and time & material projects.
  • Ensures project coding structures for cost control and scheduling requirements are accurate and up to date in the company’s information systems.
  • Produce incurred revenue reports as required.
  • Assists with the compiling of meaningful and accurate historical data for project related analysis.
  • Maintaining the company’s information system to ensure budgets are maintained to accurately account for changes in project scope, including reporting of rework, design change, and estimate omissions.
  • Ensure TMR’s are created and issued accurately and timely.
  • Overseeing the change management system to ensure it is inclusive of all project change notices and is timely.
  • Ensure approved TMR’s are received in a timely manner so as not to negatively impact the invoicing schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in business with a focus on accounting, combined with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and strong communication skills are essential. Experience working with an ERP system (JD Edwards) would be an asset.
