Job Purpose and Impact
The Billing Export Clerk (3rd shift) will combine logistics and accounting expertise to coordinate with the shipping department to bill out customer loads. In this role, you will work in a fast paced environment and interact with suppliers, manufacturers and exporters.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for collecting information and weights.
- Accountable for proper and accurate billing procedures and also error follow up.
- Collaborate with the team and provide back-up for other positions as necessary.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Ten key and keyboarding experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Understanding of billing procedures and freezer accounting.
- Working knowledge of the production processes, including shipping and inventory control.
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AS400
- Experience with Microsoft programs
- Knowledge of Export procedures and requirements for all USA, Mexico and International Countries.
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- This is a 3rd shift role, Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 9 pm till 5:30 am
