As a member of the Manufacturing Team, a Machine Operator – C (Bin Wash) is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bins and lids for food production.
Responsibilities:
· Unstack dirty bins and lids for cleaning
· Remove items from bins that may have been left behind
· Load dirty bins and lids into the cleaning and drying machines
· Ensure bins are dry and clean before moving to staging area
· Organize production, staging and shipping area with clean bins/lids
· Inform Supervisor or designate of any machine repairs required
· Adhere to specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
· Housekeeping duties including but not limited to cleaning lunch room, washrooms, office areas, storage and shipping areas
· Willingness to learn and build new skills while contributing to our positive work environment
· Follow and maintain all preventative maintenance and lean manufacturing methodologies
· Maintains standards of confidentiality with respect to private information
· Ensure a positive and professional attitude while working with peers
· Report any unsafe conditions immediately to Lead Hand or designate

· Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned
Required Knowledge and Experience:
· Minimum high school education (OSSD) or equivalent experience
· Ability to work with under supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effort:
· Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs consistently throughout the work day
· Manual dexterity and free range of motion with the ability to stand for the entire length of shift
· Frequent periods of mental and visual concentration during computer work and analyses
· Frequent interruptions which require the ability to juggle several priorities and refocus quickly
· Ability to receive verbal and written instructions in order to execute job tasks
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
· A willingness to learn and work overtime when required
