Who are we?

Located just minutes from downtown Montreal, Services aériens LUX inc [LUX Ground Services Inc] is a fast-growing company operating a FBO/Fixed-Base Operation service at St-Hubert Airport (CYHU). LUX also operates a terminal at Quebec City's Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB).

Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, Chrono Aviation has a fleet of 14 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.

Role and context

As a Bistro Attendant, you will be an ambassador for our passion for exceptional customer experience. You'll work in a dynamic, often fast-paced environment, where your primary focus will be on providing superior customer service. You'll be responsible for preparing coffee and tea drinks, as well as selling food and beverage products.

Key responsibilities

• Opening the café in a friendly atmosphere

• Set up the counter according to pre-established guidelines

• Keeping an inventory of beverages and observing product rotation.

• Receiving orders

• Warmly welcoming and serving customers

• Administer customer payments at the counter

• Heat and prepare food as required for serving

• Preparing different types of coffee and drinks

• Ensuring compliance with health and hygiene standards

• Cleaning equipment and the bistro

Specific job requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not necessary.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability to work flexible hours

• Fluency in French is essential for this position. An intermediate knowledge of spoken English is also required in order to be able to interact with English-speaking customers.
