Bookkeeper

With an immediate opening for a FULL TIME Bookkeeper, we challenge the right candidate to take on the exciting prospect of joining our team. We want you to help us provide quality service to our Vendors and Customers and Management.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a person with very high energy and enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and adaptability. You will have a proven understanding of accounting practices, with an excellent knowledge of QuickBooks, Ceridian, and Excel. You will be able to show your familiarity in working with in all areas such as record keeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, GST and computerized data management.

Certification in Professional Bookkeeping and Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliation and journal entries
- Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a regular basis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $22.79-$30.11 per hour
