Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
-Organizing and updating digital or paper records
-Making electronic or cash deposits to company bank accounts
- Calculating billing amounts, and printing and mailing bills when needed
-Keeping accurate records of payments that they receive from customers
- Reminding customers about upcoming payments or past-due accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy
- Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare financial reports and statements as needed
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, to record transactions and generate reports
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
