Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and payroll. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks is preferred.
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Prepare and process payroll for employees and sub contractors
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation
Receptionist duties: Answer incoming calls and respond to emails and deal with enquiries
Administrative duties: Filing, organizing, documentation and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a strong Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software (preferably Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
