Ivaco Rolling Mills is looking for a Business Process Owner - Planning to join the Team!

Under the supervision of the Planning Manager, the BPO Planning is responsible for evaluating our current production planning process and, in collaboration with our D365 project team and external implementation consultant, developing the D365 planning process to meet Ivaco's requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To lead and manage the planning of the rolling schedule, and specific billet requirements from all suppliers.
• Monitors rod shipments and modifies the rod mill production schedule to improve shipments against forecast.
• Monitors mill loading daily and ensures that all customer orders are rolled/approved for shipment.
• Monitors capacity loading of processors to ensure material is available to customer on time, and that affiliate processors are running efficiently.
• As we start the project, the BPO must acquire D365 knowledge and understanding as required by various SDLC activities (Software Development Life Cycle).
• The chosen resource must be able to represent his function, throughout each business unit, and have ability to work through every business process and scenario of his function. He also knows when to bring (potentially multiple) SMEs to the table.
• The BPO is responsible for project documentation, including business processes and training documentation, and is also responsible of communicating on those aspects. He also needs to know when to delegate.
• The BPO is responsible of approving requirements after making sure that the proper stakeholders (upper management or SMEs for example) have been consulted.
• The BPO is responsible of the end user training, leveraging SMEs as necessary.
• BPO is responsible for master data cleansing and validation, leveraging SMEs as necessary.
• Leveraging his teammates, the resource is also responsible for testing scenarios in the system and signing off on system functionalities. He will also be heavily involved in the solution deployment by collaboration with the data migration team and the System Integrator’s team.
• Knowing when to consult and when to inform other stakeholders is key.
• The BPO is a major agent of change among the business.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 7 years of related planning experience preferred, particularly in the use of an ERP system or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in Industrial, Rolling Mill, Shipping and/or Billet Yard operations.
• Good experience with D365 *an asset
• Understanding of future vision for functional domain (Finance, Purchasing, Logictics)
• Comfortable in software applications.
• Able to delegate and prioritize activities.
• Ability to clearly communicate with leadership, PMO, SMEs, and Crowe
• Ability to facilitate internal review and training sessions.
• Like to perform on a team while being a team player.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual: English and French (oral and written) *required
