Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant will provide customer service and guest satisfaction though a quality work environment. It is the responsibility of the Breakfast Attendant to efficiently handle the breakfast service and meet the brand promise.
Job Type / Category
- To acknowledge and create a warm welcome to all guests
- Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
- Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times
- Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
- Preparing foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.
- Stocking coffee, juice, and milk dispensers
- Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
- Preparing and setting up hot food items
- Wiping up spills
- Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
- Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
- Returning reusable food supplies to storage
- Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors
- Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints
- Be familiar with hotel services offered
- Attend any training sessions or meetings (when asked)
- Other duties may be assigned by management
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Available to start early shifts and to work weekends.
- High school diploma is preferred
- Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment are a must.
- Ability to work with food and hot dishes
- Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented
- Professional and friendly with all guests. Ability to achieve guest satisfaction
- Prior experience in Food and Beverage is an asset
Shift start at 6:00am
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
Salary: $15.00-$15.65 per hour
