Bubble Tea / Ice-Cream Maker

As a Bubble Tea/Ice Cream Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating unique and delicious beverages that will leave our customers coming back for more.

Responsibilities:

Beverage and Treat Creation:

• Prepare and assemble a variety of Bubble Tea drinks and ice cream treats according to established recipes.
• Ensure consistency and quality in each beverage and treat served.

Ingredient Preparation:

• Properly measure and prepare ingredients, including teas, syrups, boba pearls, ice cream bases, and toppings.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the management team to ensure timely restocking.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Operate and maintain Bubble Tea machines, ice cream makers, blenders, and other equipment.
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitization procedures to uphold hygiene standards.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering customer inquiries, and offering recommendations.
• Ensure a positive and friendly customer experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients, ensuring freshness and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to implement improvements to recipes and processes.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel, to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
• Assist in training new staff members on beverage and treat preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Bubble Tea/Ice Cream Maker or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bubble Tea ingredients, flavor combinations, and ice cream production techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious treats.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting ingredient quantities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Bubble Tea / Ice Cream Store: 1 year (required)
• Shawarma Store: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
