You love interacting with customers and enjoy the unique journey of helping people find the right products. You have a passion for cannabis and the emerging legal industry and are eager to learn about new products coming to market. You pride yourself on your work ethic, teamwork and ability to self motivate.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following;

• A personality for sales –you are good at thinking on your feet and drawing from product knowledge to help customers find what they are looking for. You like to set targets and crush them. You also like to see your teammates around you find success.
• Curious mind –you take initiative to learn about cannabis and its products and share with your teammates.
• Professionalism –cannabis is often under scrutiny as a newly legalized product and its your job to be the new and trustworthy face of cannabis.
• Integrity and accountability –mistakes are ok so long as you own them and strive to improve.
• Commitment to the business and a “can do” attitude –as a team member you may be asked to contribute to other aspects of the business outside of sales including inventory management, sales reports, product procurement, merchandising and cleaning.
• An innate ability to keep busy –In a smaller centre you can expect significant downtime in between customers and it’s up to you to make the most of your time. Whether you are coming up with new sales strategies or researching new product types you view time as your most precious asset and use it wisely.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service experience
• Retail & customer experience and merchandising considered an asset
• Comfortable learning new software and technologies
• Certified by SLGA CannaSell program with background check
