MuniCode Services Ltd. located in the City of Warman, Saskatchewan is looking to employ a qualified residential building official. Applicants must either hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Building Officials License, or Engineering/Architectural Technology degree. Applicants must also possess a valid driver's license.
Hours of work are 8 am-12 pm, 12:30-4:30pm Mon-Fri, and time is compensated accordingly.
DUTIES:
1. Review residential construction details for permit issuance.
2. Conduct inspections on residential buildings during phases of construction to ensure compliance with applicable codes, acts and standards.
3. Communicate with contractors, property owners, designers, etc.
4. Maintain physical and electronic records.
5. Provide technical information related to the National Building Code, The Construction Codes Act and regulations under the Act, etc.
6. Performs other related duties as required.
Salary is based on experience and education. This will be discussed during the interview process.
