Job duties and tasks:
Maintains and repairs various buildings.
- Maintains and repairs mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fabric systems including replacing lamps and ballasts, toilet and sink leaks and exhaust fans
- Inspects and maintains fire extinguishers and safety related equipment such as exit and emergency lights
- Maintains and cleans designated areas such as carpets, floors, work sites
- Responds to emergency situations such as floods and power outages
- Compiles estimates and monitors the completion of maintenance and repair projects
- Directs and certifies the work of contract workers as required
- Assists trade staff in performing trade and maintenance tasks
Other related duties:
- Adjusts and prioritizes schedule in response to clients' needs
- Assists trades people or contractors as required
- Orders goods and supplies as required
- Inspects and maintains fire extinguishers as required

Supervision/direction exercised:
Directs and certifies the work of contractors.
Physical assets/information management:
Uses Corporate vehicle, hand and power tools and equipment. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings including grounds, mechanical, utility, fabric and fire extinguishers. Compile information for project work and budget as required.
Financial resources:
Commitment authority of $1,000 labor and materials, $500 materials only. Orders goods and supplies as required. Monitors and certifies completion of contracts. Assists in budget preparation by providing information.
