Business Analyst Internship

We're a rapidly growing venture-backed start-up headquartered in Toronto, Canada with customers in Canada, the US, and New Zealand. Our talented multidisciplinary team are leaders in computer vision, software, and hardware who work collaboratively with fruit growers globally to build products that will make a difference.
How you'll make an impact.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy and identifying key opportunities for growth and partnership.
Working closely with the Vivid Machines' leadership team you'll be:

• Market research and opportunity identification
• Identifying and analyzing new use cases and potential partners
• Competitive analysis
• Building business models and strategies
• Go to Market including distribution and partnership models
• Building pricing and financial models for potential opportunities
• Participating in product marketing
• Building pitch decks and strategy presentations

What you need to bring:

• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent. MBA Students and MBA Interns are welcome to apply!
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in strategic analysis, market research, and business development.
• Exceptional financial modelling skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively distill and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning fundamentals.

Bonus points:

• A background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent.
• Co-op or other work experience in consulting.
• Experience with your own business, or in a start-up.
• Understanding of the world of agriculture.
