Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Business Applications Analyst, you are responsible for connecting critical pieces of the Arc’teryx business with tools that increase efficiency. This role is communication-demanding, requiring the ideal candidate to collaborate seamlessly with both technical and non-technical teams. The role will serve as a driver that allows Arc’teryx to engage internal departments in optimizing their workflows. Additionally, the Business Applications Analyst will act as a proxy for the business, facilitating the communication of general application needs.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Business Application Operations team manages a portfolio of collaboration tools at Arc’teryx. The team is responsible for administering accounts, managing vendor relationships, assisting with training, and maintaining licensing. In addition, the team also supports Arc’teryx’s B2B sales platform and integrations with the ERP.

If you were the Business Applications Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Developing workflows within existing collaboration tools
    • Managing and contributing to MS SharePoint projects and sites
    • Assisting users in better utilizing the Microsoft Suite
    • Providing training on various applications, involving the initial learning of tools and subsequent instruction to others
    • Facilitating the onboarding process for new applications
    • Working with different Arc’teryx departments to optimize the company’s collaboration platforms through direct consultation, documentation, and education
    • Leading communications with Arc’teryx staff to facilitate obtaining assistance and resources, including the curation of the company intranet Helpdesk
    • Communicating system changes to non-technical users
    • Working towards process and integration improvements between applications
    • Managing applications comprehensively, from user licensing to vendor relationships
    • Documenting best practices for the optimal utilization of key Business Applications

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Coordinating the usage, best practices, and seamless onboarding of users onto key strategic applications company-wide
    • Engaging in direct discussions with team leaders to present available tools and align requirements with solution capabilities
    • Representing the Business Application Operations team in cross-functional projects
    • Collaborating closely with department leaders to ensure the applications they are using are meeting business goals
    • Conducting research on emerging tools and technologies in the marketplace for potential integration and improvement opportunities

Are you our next Business Applications Analyst?

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, information systems or a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience
    • You have 2 or more years of experience working in a Business Analyst (or similar) role
    • You are a communications champion, with experience working with people of varying technical backgrounds
    • You have the ability and knowledge of bridging business needs with the appropriate IT systems
    • You excel at breaking down processes, documenting them and understanding their objectives
    • You are a driven self-starter with the willingness to see things through to the end
    • Your people skills allow you to cultivate and manage relationships with key partners of the business
    • You know how to influence people, and enjoy being a member of a team that leads new initiatives
    • You have moderate to advanced Excel skills
    • You have experience working with ERP systems
    • You have navigated processes consisting of cross-functional teams
    • You are able to learn new software technologies and put yourself in the end user’s shoes
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
    • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
$67,000 - $84,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$67,000 - CAD$84,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
