About the Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst works as a member of the Analyst team and is responsible for providing Business Intelligence solutions to support strategic decision and policy-making by the university's senior administration. The Business Intelligence Analyst assists in the development, updating, and management of data and information in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) databases, with a particular focus on web-based interactive data reporting and analyses. The position also extracts data and information from other internal and external sources to prepare ad hoc and recurring reports and assessments. As a member of the Analyst team, the position contributes to the design and development of information systems and the identification of the university's future information needs. The Business Intelligence Analyst researches, compiles information, conducts analyses, and prepares reports on a variety of issues for internal uses and also for dissemination to external agencies. The Business Intelligence Analyst responds to internal and external requests for information, data analysis and to institutional surveys from ranking and other external agencies.
