Adecco is presently in search of a dedicated full-time Business Process Analyst - Oil & Gas to join a well-established oil and gas company located in Calgary, AB. The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the application portfolio for Conventional Operations. This pivotal position involves fostering and maintaining relationships with both business/end users and IT, aiming to deliver support, solutions, and consistency while optimizing system functionality.
Please note that Oil and Gas experience is essential for this role. It's important to emphasize that this is not an IT role; rather, it's a business function role with a strong focus on engaging with stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the application portfolio, comprehending and appropriately influencing the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct preliminary project assessments, document business requirements, delineate scope, and formulate high-level business cases.
  • Partner with leadership and IT to ascertain priorities and strategize for future changes.
  • Identify and communicate potential opportunities by introducing new technology solutions, recognizing synergies among stakeholders, and proposing integration options for systems.
  • Align with IT to gain insight into corporate strategy and business enhancement initiatives.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with business stakeholders, end-users, and IT teams.
  • Facilitate reporting solutions by collaborating with corporate reporting teams to fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Provide support for upgrades, enhancements, releases, or other changes as needed; coordinate implementation of enhancements, manage issues, conduct testing, prepare documentation, and provide training.
Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Possess relevant post-secondary education in petroleum, computer science, or business analysis.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Process analysis and/or project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petroleum industry is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and Reporting Software (Power BI, Business Objects, Spotfire).
  • Familiarity with SQL query writing.
  • Comfortable working across diverse functional teams.
  • Ability to engage effectively with various levels of corporate leadership and address frontline concerns adeptly.
  • Demonstrates adeptness in forward-thinking and resolving complex problems.
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada is mandatory.
