Business Solutions Manager

Locations: Pictou NS (The Advocate), Bridgewater NS (LighthouseNow), St. Stephen NB (Saint Croix Courier)

Advocate Media Inc., a division of Advocate Printing & Publishing, is searching for Business Solutions Managerswho will bring with them a passion for cultivating relationships, exceptional customer service skills, and the desire to deliver results through meaningful solutions.

The Business Solutions Manager will be a motivated self-starter who excels in proactive outreach, particularly through cold calling, to drive revenue generation. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and flexible schedule in which you can function with minimal supervision but also as a member of the greater sales team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the sales process, and the ability to build relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Build and maintain a network of resources from which to identify new sales leads
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
• Provide accurate product information to customers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits
• Manage customer accounts through outside sales activities
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and provide feedback to management
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role
• Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiating, planning, and consultative sales skills
• Strong Microsoft office skills and ability to work with sales tracking software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
