The BYXE Street Team will provide in-person, on-site education on the rules of the road and the existing bike network, as well as build community support for cycling. This initiative supports the City of Saskatoon's Active Transportation Plan to develop tools to educate all road users on new bicycle infrastructure and how to share the road. The team will include four people who will be employees of On Purpose Leadership Inc and represent the City of Saskatoon. The successful candidates will have the following skills:
Communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
Be comfortable speaking in front of a group.
Have good presentation skills.
Be familiar with MS 365 tools, Google docs and working with online software.
Have a general understanding of Saskatoon bicycle routes and City of Saskatoon bicycle bylaws and be willing to learn more about them.
own or have access to a bicycle and helmet that is suitable to your size and be a competent bicycle rider.
Be familiar with the operation of a bicycle, and how to keep it in good running order.
Be willing to take customer service training.
Be committed to building an inclusive community.
Proficiency in a second language will be an asset.

The ideal candidate will be diplomatic, customer focused, have good interpersonal skills, work well within a team, is personally accountable for their work, show resiliency, and appreciates others. Personal attributes include being altruistic, collaborative, enjoy working within a structure, and promotes harmony in interactions with others.
Training will be provided for the selected candidates.
