Cabinet Finishing Sander

SUMMARY/OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY:

We are looking for a Finishing Sander minimum 1+ years prior experience sanding all parts in raw, primed, or sealed and preparing for finishing, checking the production paper to make sure all parts/pieces are complete for the project. Capable of sealing, priming and staining parts with little advice is an asset.

Shift: Afternoon, starting at 11:30 am to 8 pm

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
• Assist with the application of primer and paint to various surfaces
• Ensure proper mixing and handling of paint materials
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Other duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• 1 year experience sanding and finishing kitchen cabinets, doors and wood furniture
• Reliable and Punctual
• Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
• Detail-orientation, with strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Professional attitude and excellent time management skills, with an ability to commit and meet objectives and responsibilities

Salary: $18.77-$20.87 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
