Cafe Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and possess excellent leadership skills. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing a team of employees, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the cafe's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Train, supervise, and schedule staff members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to high-quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and sanitary cafe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and manage the cash register accurately
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create and update menu offerings
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales

Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations, including food handling, preparation, and service
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a food service setting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
