The Project:
We are looking to hire numerous employees to join our Call Centre for our current STARS Project / Winter Lotteries that launched on December 29th 2023. We are ideally looking for people who can commence immediately for a fixed-term project until March 22nd 2024. These roles pay $16.30hr with some positions potentially being ongoing for the right candidates.
What will you be doing?
The Call Centre Operator is the front-line voice of our lottery projects and provides the initial impression to customers. Operators will take calls for lottery ticket orders, enter purchaser data into the system, verify the data entered, open incoming mail orders, and complete data entry for mail-in orders.

In addition, the role will:
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries.
- Complete data entry and verify customer lottery ticket order information.
- Provide ticket purchasers with lottery campaign information as detailed in the project reference binder.
- Complete Freshdesk support tickets for customer service inquiries.
- Courtesy Outbound reminder calls.
- Assist with opening, reviewing, and sorting incoming lottery ticket mail orders.
- Assist with filing as requested
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous Call Centre experience
- Flexibility, adaptability and reliability
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to type quickly and efficiently
