Campground Manager

Seeking a motivated team to manage and operate our campground. This is an on-property position. Our Campground Manager Role will oversee various aspects of campground operations, including:

• Facility Management:
• Oversee and manage the maintenance of campsites, restrooms, shower facilities, and common areas.
• Address any issues related to landscaping, utilities, and infrastructure within the campground.
• Operation of the concession stand and gift shop .
• Reservations, Customer Service, and Check-Ins:
• Handle reservations, check-ins.
• Provide excellent customer service to campers and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Enforcement of Rules:
• Enforce campground rules and resolve camper-related issues.
• Financial Management:
• Manage campground finances, including collecting fees, processing payments, and maintaining financial records.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the campground's operational needs.
• Safety and Emergency Response:
• Implement safety protocols and respond to emergencies.
• Grounds Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for improvements to campground amenities and grounds.
• Coordinate or oversee projects aimed at enhancing the campground's facilities.
• Marketing and Promotion:
• Develop strategies to attract campers through various channels.
• Environmental Stewardship:
• Promote eco-friendly practices and educate campers on conservation.
• Event Planning:
• Organize and facilitate campground events for a better camping experience.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.

Wages are negotiable based on experience. Preference is to have the right people in place for this camping season scheduled to start early April 2024
